Our Fleet

Polska Żegluga Morska manages an extensive fleet of merchant vessels with very high transport capacity. The core of the shipowner’s operations consists of bulk carriers used for the transport of dry bulk cargoes such as metal ores, grain, timber and other bulk commodities. These vessels belong to well-established classes on the shipping market, allowing for flexible service of both smaller ports and the largest maritime terminals worldwide. As a result, the PŻM fleet can operate on nearly all major trade routes, providing stable and competitive transport services.

In addition to bulk shipping operations, the PŻM Group also conducts passenger and freight transport. These services are carried out through Unity Line, a company specialising in ferry connections in the Baltic Sea. The operated ferries play an important role in international transport of passengers, vehicles and ro-ro cargo, connecting Poland with Scandinavian countries. These vessels are distinguished by modern equipment, high safety standards and facilities ensuring passenger comfort.

Such a diversified fleet structure means that Polska Żegluga Morska combines traditional cargo shipping with regular ferry services, playing a significant role both in global maritime trade and in the regional transport system.
